Lebron James has proven to be one of the most business and socially active NBA superstars of all time. His work with Klutch Sports and Uninterrupted has shown his business acumen. He has been socially outspoken during the Black Lives Matter movement and was one of the main NBA voices who led the charge for substantive dialogue amongst the NBA community.

Over the years, Lebron has also worked hard in his hometown community of Akron, Ohio. In 2018, he opened the I Promise School which has proven to be a beacon of hope in his hometown community of Akron. The students are learning using a STEM-based curriculum and have exceeded the learning goals which were set.

Today, along with the Lebron James Family Fund, Lebron announced the opening of House Three Thirty. This is a venue that will function as a community center. It will feature recreation areas, job training, and a variety of tools and services that will be open to the Akron community.

It's always great to see players use their platforms to be positive impacts on their communities and Lebron has been a great example of that. In a year marred by social unrest, divisive rhetoric, and economic uncertainty, it gives a lot of hope to see someone in Lebron James's position still thinking about the bigger picture and looking out for the community. The community center is set to open in 2022, and we’re excited to see how the final vision turns out.
